About
poniponi
poniponi is an organization based in Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture, working on multiple projects to realize a society that overcomes labor supply constraints. Its core theme is shifting from a "system where people adapt to society" to a "system that maximizes each individual's potential." This is achieved through collaborative social system transformation involving multi-stakeholders from industry, government, academia, and citizens.
Our methodology proposal paper, based on practice aiming for social system transformation, has won awards at international conferences abroad and been accepted for publication in English journals.

Profile
Through experience in corporate planning and proposals, civic activities, supporting local government planning, and serving as secretariat for national review committees, I became keenly aware of the need for entities (intermediary support organizations) that transcend sectoral and domain-based silos. In 2019, I launched the Omuta Future Co-creation Center (poniponi) in Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture. We began initiatives such as supporting the city government's policy formation, undertaking projects addressing themes falling between institutional and sectoral gaps, and collaborating with businesses. I sincerely want to change the situation where societal systems that don't fit reality are causing people suffering.
