Kickoff Event "Labor Supply Constraints: Omuta" Held to Turn Labor Shortages into Opportunities

Since its founding, poniponi has worked on various projects to realize a "system that maximizes each individual's potential."
Amidst structural labor supply constraints arising from population decline and aging, the reality that we cannot sustain all infrastructure and public services has become pressing.
Therefore, in February 2024, we held "Kickoff! Omuta: A Society Facing Labor Supply Constraints—Turning Labor Shortages into Opportunity." This event brought together stakeholders from industry, government, academia, and the community to initiate dialogue on making labor-short Omuta sustainable.

Concept make and First trial

When prioritizing what to preserve and what to abandon with limited resources, we need words that share the accompanying pain. Yet this proves difficult. Speaking up risks causing friction. Consequently, meetings remain confined to reporting the status quo, while the very matters that should be addressed get postponed "to avoid upsetting others."
Thus began the first trial of KAIGI Singularity.

Proposal to Omuta: "Overcoming Labor Supply Constraints Through the Potential of Each Individual" Issued

KAIGI Singularity was promoted to numerous government officials, businesspeople, and academics at an exhibition in Tokyo. Following this exhibition, inquiries began arriving from various regions across Japan (e.g., Ishikawa Prefecture, October 2024–), and its potential application within corporations (e.g., NTT, December 2025–) is now being explored.
